As a college student, I don''t have much money to spare, so I was particularly devastated to find out recovering the data on the $50 external hard drive I bought would cost $2.3k. After I dropped a (not backed-up) external drive on the concrete, Secure Data Recovery recovered all but a tiny fraction of 1% of my files.
