I called around different places but Kyle’s great attitude and personableness stood out to me above and beyond anywhere else and genuinely seems to care. He even followed up in only a couple days after not shipping (bc of the snow storm) where other businesses followed up literally like 2 weeks after (only 1) and then all other places didn’t even follow up.We have had many great talks way beyond just business updates as he has kept me informed throughout the recovery process. Recently, my 9+ year old Western Digital hard drive started clicking and stopped reading on my PC. I panicked and brought it to a nearby shop (Techtronics in Midtown NYC) hoping to save some money, and it was a horrible experience - the staff was rude, dishonest, and totally unprofessional. They charged a lot of money to perform a diagnostic, were impatient and condescending with my questions, then ended up lying about even performing a diagnostic at all. Frustrated, I went to Western Digital''s website to see what they recommended and came across Secure Data. They mailed in the drive and performed a diagnostic for free, then I promptly got a call from Kyle Moravcik. Immediately I could tell Kyle was honest, knowledgeable, patient, & totally professional. I''m a tricky customer and ask a TON of questions, and he answered every single one. He took the time to educate me on how the drives work well beyond what was required - the customer service I was offered was truly night and day. While setting up the repair I was traveling for 3 weeks and he patiently waited for me and continued follow-up even when I was procrastinating a bit on my end. When there was an issue with the repair drive size, he promptly called and helped me find an awesome resolution. Best of all, they were able to recover 100% OF MY DATA! (the other place told me they could only do 70% at best). Financially, Secure data was super accommodating. There were no hidden fees or surprise charges, and Kyle was flexible helping me manage costs. Running into data issues is a stressful, costly burden but Kyle and Secure Data made it such a positive, easy experience to go through. I absolutely recommend their services to anyone going through this - it is 100% worth the investment and I am grateful to have my irreplaceable memories safe and secure.
