Jonathan provided excellent customer service, even responding to me late in the evening, which allowed me to access my data right away, instead of having to wait for the next business day. Also, Secure data was able to do a full recovery of an older hard drive, which was great. Full recovery and great customer service is a winning combination.

Elliot was professional and the service was FAST! They were able to retrieve all of the files from my flash drive. This was the second time we have used their service and had success. I greatly appreciate their help.

We had trouble with this fractured WD drive after falling onto a hardwood floor from 3 feet after 20+ years of service, several computer backups for me, family and friends including scans of ancient family photos and videos... a hard crash in more ways than one. Elliot worked one on one with me every step of the way, including when the recovered drive suffered some kind of damage to the recovered disk itself. He told me it would be no charge to do it again. It did take a bit longer to recover the original disk AGAIN(!), but they did it at no cost and the results are amazing... I haven''t seen some of this stuff for decades, and cannot be happier!Happily and confidently offer recommendation of trust to Secure Data for recovery services.

Initial intake was good and they recovered what we believe to be 100% of the data from a Seagate drive that died. We are thankful for the fact that our data was recovered. We did have some issues regarding clarity of communication regarding the payment terms being changed AFTER the project started and for the add-ons at the end. When the contract was signed we provided a credit card that was preauthorized for $4,720.15, this included a credit card processing fee. Well into the process we were notified that they would only accept wire transfer or ACH after they had taken preauthorization on the card. They seemed way too concerned about getting payment rather than providing assurances things were under control. We were asked how we would be paying when the contract was sent and we stated by credit card. There was no discussion about the need for a specific payment type when the contract was signed and payment made. The additional add-on items were the cost of the ridiculous branded Secure Data Drive with key pad, the two year service contract, and $45 to ship the drive back. This was not disclosed in our conversation regarding costs. The representative said they had disclosed but I know they did not. We disagree that these charges were disclosed. It was a little infuriating to be charged so much for the recovery and then be, what felt like, nickeled and dimed at the end for the under coating. The midway changes to the payment terms and add-ons at the end made me not fully trust the company. The rep we worked with was a nice person but I felt like they did not fully disclose the full costs. Being fully transparent would have made the process a lot more trusting for me. Again, I am very thankful for the work that they did in recovering the data. The end result is that we got the data recovered, more transparency would have made the process a little less stressful when it came to fully trusting the company and the processes involved.

Scott was highly responsive with my computer data recovery, helping walk me through early steps as I was trying to get a handle on the extent of damage and helping me to other options to try first before going for a more intense data recovery process. Unfortunately my computer was simply too damaged, but I was thrilled that there was still a service out there that could save my data! They were lightening fast with communication and were able to finish the job within a month. I got full data recovery in the end. Highly recommend if you need to recover data from a badly damaged device.
