Hardware

The 3.5-inch SATA III HDDs were configured for RAID 0 and housed inside a Direct Attached Storage (DAS) appliance.
Cause of Data Loss
Mr. Crews powered on the storage unit as normal. However, he heard the hard drive clicking and humming within the enclosure. He shut the drives down and then tried to start them again, but the abnormal sounds persisted. He decided to call Secure Data Recovery for help.
