I had never had an external hard drive fail, so I did not back up the materials on the disk. Huge mistake. Because, of course, the external hard drive died. I eventually wound up at Secure Data Recovery and Eric Dvorin helped walk me through the whole process of recovering the data from the drive. I admit to some sticker shock about the cost. But there was a huge amount of work involved in recovering the data. And I just couldn''t let those family photos go. Thanks to Eric for his effective communication throughout the process and for restoring the data from the failed disk so I have the family photos again. I highly recommend their services.

I thought I was being proactive by putting my confidential information along with 20 + years of family photos on an external hard drive so that I would lessen the risk of cyber compromise. I measured the cost of recovery against taking the time to re-create the forms and how much value the other files had. Its one thing to have a specialty niche where the services are in demand, its another to have that niche PLUS staff that make a client feel they are a priority.
Eric pulled it all off. An invaluable service, effective communication, problem solving and the all so important personal touch. I hope I never need this service again but WHEN it comes up again, Secure Data Recovery will be my first call.

These guys did an awesome job for us trying to recover pictures from our SD card. We found most of our pictures on a cloud and decided not to follow through. They treated me like family and gave detailed information.
