Overview

One of the biggest concerns when dealing with important files, from business spreadsheets to baby pictures, is storage. As technology advances, we continue to invent new ways to store information. Two of the most convenient options are portable storage drives and cloud storage. Both allow you to open and edit files on any computer, solving the problem of accessing important information when you’re away from your home laptop or office computer. They work in different ways, and they both have their pros and cons. Until now, though, they have been kept largely separate.

That’s where SecureBackup for USB Drive comes in. This software connects your portable storage device to whatever cloud service you use. Simply install SecureBackup for USB Drive on your flash drive or external hard drive. Then, open the software and follow the onscreen directions to begin, select and sign into your preferred cloud-based storage website. From then on, each time you plug your device into a computer, the files stored on it will be backed up to the cloud. This way, you can keep a copy on both your portable storage device and in the cloud, without having to worry about manually syncing the two.

SecureBackup for USB Drive even works with memory cards, making it that much easier to preserve family photos. It also works great for college students, who may end up editing the same document on multiple computers or needing a copy of their presentation on a flash drive.

Encryption of All Files Uploaded and Downloaded

When Encryption option is on, ClevX Crypto Module will work together with both the backup/restore SecureBackup for USB Drive application and Anti-Virus application providing additional layer of protection (AV + encryption).

When Encryption option is on , all user files are AES256Bit encrypted in transit and in the cloud. Encryption is using FIPS 140-2 Certified openSSL encryption engine and can sustain HIPAA compliance.

SecureAntivirus is included with this software

SecureAntivirus is a powerful antivirus tool that prevents malware from spreading through USB drives. Designed for users who transfer pictures, music, videos and other documents via USB drives, SecureAntivirus ensures the files that you put on your drive are malware-free.

SecureAntivirus eliminates all types of threats, including viruses, rootkits, worms and spyware from your USB drive. More importantly, it protects you from inadvertently spreading malware to your home or shared computers.
