OS Compatibility:
This software was developed to work with a recent Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 10, 8, 7, 2000, XP, Vista, 2003 Server, 2008 or 2012 Server , and all Apple devices.

One of the biggest concerns when dealing with important files, from business spreadsheets to baby pictures, is storage. As technology advances, we continue to invent new ways to store information. Two of the most convenient options are portable storage drives and cloud storage. Both allow you to open and edit files on any computer, solving the problem of accessing important information when you're away from your home laptop or office computer. They work in different ways, and they both have their pros and cons. Until now, though, they have been kept largely separate.

That's where SecureCloudSync comes in. This software connects your portable storage device to whatever cloud service you use. Simply install SecureCloudSync on your flash drive or external hard drive. Then, open the software and follow the onscreen directions to begin, select and sign into your preferred cloud-based storage website. From then on, each time you plug your device into a computer, the files stored on it will be backed up to the cloud. This way, you can keep a copy on both your portable storage device and in the cloud, without having to worry about manually syncing the two.

SecureCloudSync even works with memory cards, making it that much easier to preserve family photos. It also works great for college students, who may end up editing the same document on multiple computers or needing a copy of their presentation on a flash drive.

The SecureCloudSync software monitors any changes made to your portable storage device and begins backing up new files as soon as they are added. With SecureCloudSync, you never have to worry about losing your data on the go, thanks to these great user-friendly features:

  • Compatible with any memory card or USB drive (including Flash, HDD/SDD, and more)
  • Supports multiple cloud services (Dropbox, Google Drive, Box and iCloud)
  • Performs an automatic cloud backup of files from your portable storage device
  • Allows you to save files locally but access and restore them globally
  • Streamlines the backup process with an easy-to-use interface
  • Does not require host installation
  • Provides ESET anti-virus protection
  • Supports multiple languages

SecureCloudSync offers a three-tiered pricing plan to meet your needs. You can buy a personal license for one storage device, a home license for up to three devices, or a business license for up to 10 drives. Because we don't want the price to hold you back, these yearly licenses cost $9.96 (83 cents per month), $19.92 ($1.66 per month), and $49.80 ($4.15 per month), respectively. If you're still not sure whether this software will work for you, put the risk-free trial version to the test before you purchase a license.

How do I install SecureCloudSync?

First, download the latest version from our website. Then double-click the USB-to-Cloud-Installer.exe, select the desired portable drive, and click the Install button.

How do I get started?

Insert your portable storage device into the USB drive. If the autoplay dialog appears, select Open Folder to View Files. (If not, no worries! You will need to open it manually using File Explorer.) Double-click the SecureCloudSync application and follow the onscreen instructions.

How do I know my files were backed up?

The SecureCloudSync icon in the Windows tray will show a green circle with a checkmark to indicate that the backup process is complete.

Do I need to take special steps to eject my SecureCloudSync drive from my computer?

You can right-click on the icon in the Windows tray that helps you safely remove hardware and eject media. However, because SecureCloudSync continuously checks for changes, you may get an unwarranted warning not to eject your storage device. As long as your computer is not interacting with the drive, though, you can safely remove it.

Does SecureCloudSync skip files it has already saved?

Yes. After the initial backup, SecureCloudSync performs an incremental backup.

What if I don't want to back up everything on the device?

Under Settings, you can uncheck any folders you do not want to include in the backup.

Can I activate more than one free trial?

You can only activate one free trial per device. However, there is no per-computer or per-person limit, so you can activate a free trial on as many different devices as you like.

Are licenses transferable?

No. Because SecureCloudSync uses a Unique Device Identifier (UDI), you must purchase a separate license for each new device.

Which clouds are supported?

The following clouds are currently supported: Dropbox, Google Drive, Box and iCloud. We plan to offer more options soon. You can also back up to any network or local drive using NAS (Network Attached Storage).

How do I restore files from my backup?

In the SecureCloudSync menu, select Restore. Wait for all the information to load, then choose which files you would like to restore and where to restore them. You can restore without your SecureCloudSync device by logging into your cloud storage and accessing the Apps/USB-to-Cloud folders there.

What if my computer gets a virus?

SecureCloudSync offers a portable anti-virus application that can be used to protect your device from malware and viruses. However, this feature is optional and be activated under Settings before it will work.
