    5 Stars

It was very easy experience, they told me what they could do.
So I send them my hard drive and they did what they said they would do.
There was no pressure at all. My old drive was returned along with a new portable drive with all my recovered files. There is no charge if there is no recovery.

    Relief Received !!!

Thank you Secure Data Recovery for working with us to recover my daughter’s data we lost just prior to her entering Optometry school. She had detailed, copious notes on her hard drive and then they were gone!!! What a sinking feeling we all shared. We reached out to Secure Data Recovery and via their off-peak business hours pricing scheme, were able to resurrect the vast majority of lost data. Thank you for your professionalism, patience and courtesy!! Most of all, thank you for the Stress Relief..

Excellent Service - Quick and Painless (Genuine)

I had never used a data recovery service prior to using Secure Data Recovery. Honestly, it's something I hope that I never have to do again. Not because of my experience with SDR, but because going through the headache and anxiety of potentially losing all of your important files, documents, media, etc is never a fun experience.

That being said, it taught me a valuable lesson. Always have your important data backed up on an external hard drive. No exceptions. Invest in at the bare minimum, a single large storage drive to prevent this nightmare from happening to you.

However, if you're reading this, it's probably because you weren't protected, or at least not fully, as you need to recover some lost data. This is where SDR comes in. They are expensive, yes. But after doing extensive research on how involved this process can be, it's important that you choose the right company to do this work for you. Hard drive disks are incredibly sensitive, and if not operated on by a professional, can result in catastrophic consequences, essentially destroying your data permanently. That being said, if you feel like the data you have is worth saving, choose the best there is, which is SDR.

My service representative was Jeremy, who walked me through the entire process, pricing, and expected time of recovery. It was super easy. I shipped my HDD in an envelope using a prepaid shipping label that SDR provided, and within days I received a report telling me that my data was recoverable. After the lab spent the time recovering the data, I was able to peak into the file directories and verify that everything I asked for was indeed there. After confirming, I paid for the service and received my data back on an external hard drive.

Long story short, if you want to avoid this process to begin with, always have your data backed up. Think of it as insurance, much like you'd have for your health or your car. If you don't, you're at risk, and you'll have to pay the big bucks to get the problem resolved. If you do find yourself in that position, choose these guys and they'll get you taken care of.
